Fire Shield Sleeve

Our Fuel Line Heat Shields: Rugged Protection for Racetrack Fuel Lines

When you’re pushing the pedal to the metal on the racetrack, heat radiating from the engine and exhaust system can damage your brake lines, fuel lines, wiring harnesses, and cables ultimately decreasing their lifespan. Protect these essential lines with our braided fiberglass Fire Shield Sleevefuel line heat shield and keep your vehicle cool both on and off the road.

Rugged Silicone Coating for Maximum Strength

The high-grade silicone rubber coating that we use on our Fire Sleeve tubing is resistant to most chemicals and won’t be damaged by hydraulic fluids, oils, or fuels (which makes it great for hot rod and race cars!) The patented coating also protects the sleeve from damaging abrasion and prevents it from fraying prematurely.

Take advantage of this sleeve’s broad-spectrum heat-reduction capabilities by bundling your wires, hoses, and cables together. Whether bundled or separate, our Fire Shield Sleeve™ will reduce and dissipate heat at temperatures of up to 500°F continuous or 900°F intermittent.

Ideal for Use with Our Heat Shrink Wrap

When you install the Fire Shield Sleeve™ on the fuel hose and brake lines, secure the sleeve to the fitting end of the hose with some electrical tape to prevent fraying and cut the other end down to match the length of the hose. Then, remove the electrical tape and seal off the ends of your fuel line heat shield with our Heat Shrink Wrap and a heat gun. This final step keeps the heat inside of the hose and prevents it from radiating out—which is the key to improving your vehicle’s performance!
