Protect air lines and welding hoses with a cover for applications near active welding sites with Slag-Shield Sleeve™. Welding or plasma cutting can expose air and gas lines, power cords, lines, and cables to sparks and slag. Damage to these lines and cables can delay critical and necessary work or harm the equipment. Slag-Shield Sleeve uses uniquely designed, silicone-formulated Weld Shield™ material to provide protection. It is also abrasion resistant.
Slag-Shield Sleeve has a 5/8-inch inner diameter, allowing it to fit over most air and welding hoses protecting them from slag and harsh environments. The high-temp hook-and-loop fasteners make installation and removal easy and quick. The also allow for some adjustment to the diameter making sire this heat shield protector is always snug and secured.
