COLD-GOLD™ Sleeve from Heat Shield Products is a lightweight heat reflective sleeve used to increase performance and keep things protected. Capable of reflecting up to 90% of radiant heat, this removable Gold heat wrap is great for protection without component disassembly. Capable of withstanding 1100-F of continuous radiant heat, and up to 500-F of direct contact this removable loom means business.

With a 1 inch of airspace from the heat source and good airflow, our Gold foil heat wrap can drop temperatures dramatically. Because of its open seam and hook and loop fastening system, this also makes an excellent heat shield for wire harnesses.
Seal Gold Heat Shield Wrap For Better Protection
It is always preferred to have a sleeve tight on the fuel line or harness, it is not always necessary. Sometimes the inside diameter of the sleeve is a little to big for the component it is protecting. While a heat sleeve does not need to be tight over the component it is protecting it, the ends need to be. Not properly sealing the ends can allow heat to sneak in behind the sleeve in these instances. Using either the adjustment on the hook and loop seam, our HP Shrink™, or other method to secure the ends will give you the confidence this sleeve will protect your ride.
