Fireplace Heat Shields Save Money

In most fireplaces, heat is absorbed into the back wall. Not only is this inefficient, it can also cause damage to bricks and lead to cracked mortar. Using a FireFlect™ Shield insert can stop this process. By installing the fireplace heat shield it will radiate more heat out of the fireplace. Protecting the fireplace wall and diverting thermal energy back into the room or outward to your outdoor patio. It can heat the room quicker and allow you to use less fuel for the fire. You will no longer need to stand directly next to wood burning fireplace to get warm.

Cost Effective Alternate to Other Fireplace Inserts

This fireplace heat shield is a cost-effective alternate to a fireplace blower insert or it may be used in conjunction with one. FireFlect™ Shield works with traditional wood, gas, and electric fireplaces. FireFlect™ is a true fireplace heat shield, superior to black single sheets of metal. The reflective stainless surface combined with our Inferno-Core Insulation redirects more heat those other single solid pieces of metal. Combining an insulation fabric with a highly reflective surface, makes for a superior reflective heat barrier.

Our FireFlect™ Shield is easy to install and remove for cleaning. Made from 321 stainless steel and our exclusive Inferno Core™ insulation, it is safe to use. Fireflect™ Shield will work in traditional wood burning fireplaces as well gas fireplaces. All will see improved performance and a reduction in heating costs. Add a FireFlect™ Shield to your fireplace and improve its efficiency up to 30-percent all while using less wood or fuel. As soon as you put it in, you will feel the improvement. Stop losing heat, it’s time to make your fireplace more efficient and save money on heating costs.

PROP 65 WARNING: This product can expose you to chromium, a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer and/or birth defects or other reproductive harm. www.P65Warnings.ca.gov

Patent Pending on this fireplace heat deflector

Why is heat shield different than other metal fireplace inserts?

Unlike single layers of metal, the FireFlect™ Shield has our proprietary Inferno™ Core insulation. This significantly reduces the amount of heat transferred to your fireplace back wall, unlike a single layer of metal. Even a thicker gauge metal eventually becomes heat soaked and still conducts heat.

Which side of the fireplace heat shield faces my room?

The side without seams or folded over edges of your Fireflect™ Shield should be facing towards your living space with the folded edges facing or touching the backwall of the fireplace.

Why do I have to fold the arms backwards on the shield?

Folding the arms around to the front side of the FireFlect Shield™ creates tension on the arms. This tension helps to “push” or put pressure on the shield so it stays in the backwall of the fireplace.

Do I need to do any maintenance on the heat shield?

We recommend brushing off the FireFlect Shield™ every time you clean out the ash form your fireplace. We also suggest taking it out every 3-4 months and giving it a thorough cleaning with a brush and solution of soapy water or non-combustible stainless-steel cleaner.
