Fuel Rail Heat Shield

Fuel-injected vehicles are some of the most powerful on the road, but they can also suffer serious fuel problems if the fuel returning to the fuel cell overheats. Over a long-distance race, hot fuel returning to the fuel cell can really heat up, changing its chemical balance and affecting the existing settings. Keeping fuel temps down while returning to the fuel cell can be almost as vital as keeping the fuel delivered to the engine cool. The FR Shield™ is designed to withstand temperatures up to 1100°F, 2000°F intermittent, and 500°F direct, and comes in either a single or double pack of 6-inches x 18-inches.

Prevent pre-ignition and maximize your fuel efficiency by installing our fuel rail heat shield and cooling your fuel. Fuel rail covers protect your fuel from radiant heat by reflecting the heat away from the rails. It’s a small investment that can have a big impact!

Proposition 65 requires businesses to provide warnings to Californians about significant exposures to chemicals that cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. These chemicals can be in the products that Californians purchase, in their homes or workplaces, or that are released into the environment.
