Industrial Strength Exhaust Heat Shield
This heavy-duty industrial exhaust insulation system can reduce exhaust pipe heat as much as 70%. The outer Armor of this heat shield allows it to be cleaned after installation, gives it a long lifespan, and makes Heatshield Armor™ resistant to the elements. In addition, it makes it safe for workers to contact in brief intervals. The inner BioCool™ liner makes it capable of withstanding 1800°F continuous, which allows this heat shield to be placed directly on exhaust pipes, tube flange, turbo manifolds, down pipes, DPF (check with state regulations regarding usage on DPF), and other tier 4 exhaust components.
Easy as 1-2-3, Cut, Wrap, and Strap In Place
This heat shield is flexible, easy to cut, and install. It is a great hybrid between custom made exhaust jackets and universal wraps - making it an economical yet heavy duty power gen heat shield! Another advantage over an all alloy exhaust heat shield, you do not get the hot side to cold side heat conduction, because there is no metal contact layer on your genset exhaust! Heatshield Armor can even be repaired with one of our Heatshield Armor Weld tapes!
Improve Efficiency, Lower Costs, Performance Gains
In addition to being an industrial exhaust heat shield, Heatshield Armor is an excellent insulation solution to retain heat inside ducting or pipes. This can improve your energy efficiency and keep your manufacturing process running smoothly. It prevents loss of thermal energy in fluids and can also reduce nearby temperatures so it is safe for factory workers to be around the pipes or ducting. The retained heat inside the pipe or duct system can also decrease energy costs by keeping the heat where it belongs and not radiating out to the rest of your production facility.
Can your industrial Heatshield Armor be painted to match after installation?
Yes. Any high temperature paint suitable for metal will work fine. You should be able to get high temperature engine or exhaust paint available at any local heavy duty parts dealer.
