The rugged silicone covering makes this heat proof wire sleeve resistant to chemicals, non combustible, and abrasion resistant. The heat resistant wire loom also reduces fraying to a minimum. This rugged covering makes Fire Shield Sleeve™ ideal for welding lines and cables on your bike. You can also use Fire Shield Sleeve™ for brake lines, fuel lines, wiring harnesses, and cables. Fire Shield Sleeve is a heat resistant wire loom that stands 450°F continuous and works great for areas where harsh environments exist that require heat shield insulation.

Required equipment: safety glasses, dust mask, gloves, scissors or utility knife

Pretty easy, just cut to length!

Pro Tip: Compress or “bunch” the sleeve length wise, and stretch the opening of the sleeve then slide over. It may also help to coat fitting or terminal with silicone or dry graphite spray before sliding over. To decrease the id of sleeve after it slides over fitting/terminal pull on both ends of the sleeve to stretch the length.
