Managing heat in hoses and lines can be achieved by using a heat shield sleeve on your motorcycle or side by side. Moto Fire Shield™ Sleeve is a rugged silicone coated sleeve that can be used to shield away radiant heat or retain heat inside. This heat shield loom has a nominal inside diameter that will stretch up to 10% to slide over fittings and terminals. Each kit includes 2 heat shrink to “seal” the end of the sleeve onto the hose or metal line. It is okay if the heat loom is a little loose, just as long as the ends are sealed to optimize insulation properties.

It is common on Rzr, Maverick, and other side by sides to have coolant lines running down the tunnel in the middle of the vehicle. Using the Moto Fire Shield™ Sleeve can prevent these coolant lines from heating up and reduce driver’s compartment temperatures.
