SPARK PLUG BOOT PROTECTOR - PRO-BOOT™ SHIELD

Spark plug boot protectors are a critical component to making sure an engine runs reliably in today’s modern world. The “vintage” ring style spark plug heat shield started in 1991 as a partnership between Heatshield Products and Sesame Technologies. While they have been copied (sometimes poorly), companies have been following down the path we forged over 30 years ago. We shifted gears and once again raised the bar!

Driveway Install, Professional Results

Pro-Boot Shield is designed to have a professional look after it has been installed. This innovative spark plug boot protector is a little longer than our original Insul-Boot and is engineered for today’s DIS ignition systems. Composed of the lava rock-based fiber, basalt, these boots are 25% stronger than fiberglass predecessors, making these shields built to last. The Lava™ fiber also offers some abrasion resistance, and is chemical, oil, and even acid resistant. The inner Tac Armor™ Liner provides an extra layer of heat insulation giving you the ultimate spark plug heat shield. In addition to looking cooler, it is cool…literally. Having a hook and loop fastener on the spark plug boot cover’s wire end keeps heat, dirt, and debris away from the spark plug boot. This innovative patented feature makes it easy to install and gives it a professional look.

How to Install Spark Plug Boot Protector

To install the spark plug boot protector, slide the Pro-Boot™ Shield onto a straight or 135° boot. Force the boot all the way down to the bottom of the Pro-Boot™ Shield, then grabbing the boot and shield, force the boot onto the spark plug until you feel a click. Be sure to give a slight pull after it is installed to make sure the plug wire terminal has full contact with the spark plug. Then simply seal the hook and loop end around the spark plug wire!

Stop using 20th century technology in your 21st century ignition system, and grab your Pro-Boot™ Shield today.
