For $43 you can get a half-gallon of db Skin™ vibration-damping material to apply to metal surfaces to decrease harmonic resonance, eliminating the annoying rattles and squeaks that sound like a swarm of mosquitoes constantly buzzing in your ear.
- Applies with a brush or spray gun. Easy cleanup with just warm water before the product dries
- Much lighter weight versus typical stick-on, asphalt-based sound-damping material
- Effective at dampening structural vibrations over 10 to 40 KHz frequency range; can boost output from treated speakers by 1 to 3 decibels
Improve Exhaust Efficiency
Keeping more heat in the exhaust system helps to increase exhaust efficiency and reduce undercar radiated heat. A 5-foot roll of Heatshield Armor™ exhaust insulation sells for just $117.
